This policy explains how information is handled when you use the SpicyRPN app or visit spicyrpn.com. The website provides information and documentation about SpicyRPN. It does not offer visitor accounts, public logins, comments, or forums. Information collected through ordinary use of the SpicyRPN app or visits to this website are limited to the technical information described below.

Who We Are

Spicy Bullfrog Productions (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops and maintains the SpicyRPN calculator app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac and operates spicyrpn.com (the “Site”). This privacy policy covers the SpicyRPN app, visits to the Site, and information you voluntarily provide when contacting us for support. The App Privacy section describes how the app handles information. The website sections describe information associated with browsing the Site and downloading its materials. App Privacy

Your information stay on your device

SpicyRPN performs calculations locally and does not require an account or an internet connection for calculator functions. The app does not transmit your calculations, stored values, or settings to us. SpicyRPN contains no advertising, tracking technology, or third-party analytics services. We do not sell your app data or use it for advertising.

Locally stored information

SpicyRPN saves calculator state on your device, including stored values, unfinished calculations, calculation history, and settings. This allows you to resume your work when you reopen the app.

This information remains until you clear it or remove the app’s stored data. You can clear calculation values using the app’s clearing controls. On iPhone and iPad, deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading the app preserves that data. On Mac, removing the application alone may leave its saved data behind. Contact us if you need assistance removing it.

Your device’s backup services may retain copies of app data according to your backup settings. Those copies are managed separately from the app.

Apple services

Apple handles App Store purchases and associated payment information. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Apple may collect and share app diagnostics or usage statistics with us through its platform services, subject to Apple’s privacy policies and applicable settings. TestFlight beta testing may also provide us with crash reports, usage information, and feedback under Apple’s TestFlight terms, but only if you are a TestFlight beta tester. These services are separate from SpicyRPN’s local calculation and storage functions.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and any information or attachments you choose to provide. We use that information to respond to your inquiry and troubleshoot reported problems, and retain it only as needed for those purposes and related follow-up. You may request deletion of your support correspondence by emailing admin@spicybullfrog.com.

If you follow a link from the app to spicyrpn.com, the website privacy provisions below apply to that visit.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our web server and hosting provider receive technical information sent by your browser and may record it in routine access, error, and security logs. This information may include:

  • Your Internet Protocol (IP) address.
  • The date and time of a request.
  • The pages or files requested and the server’s response, such as a status or error code.
  • Browser type and version, and operating system information supplied by your browser.
  • The referring page or website, when your browser supplies it.

We do not ask visitors to register or submit names, usernames, email addresses, profiles, comments, or forum posts. IP addresses and other log details may qualify as personal information.

How we use log information
